You've been through an awful lot. That would shrivel up anybody's sense of enjoyment.

I feel kind of out of place commenting because- ack- another obnoxiously p-word person, but I'm thinking of you, ok?

I get tired of seeing them too.

go easy on yourself. it's nice to be able to find joy, but don't be hard on yourself if you are not filled with it. you've been through so very much. thinking of you.

Lyrehca

Don't underestimate being down a pants size and having two cute tops to wear. I often feel better inside when I know I look good outside.

You *have* been through a lot. Take whatever you need to show that things are going well.

niobe

I stopped trying to enjoy life a while back. I feel lots better. Dunno if it would work for you though.

Congrats on coming up with 5 good things. Keep looking for fairies and positive items and it will get easier.

Some days it's so hard to come up with 5 good things, isn't it? I hope that you can continue to add good things to your list!
Here from NCLM!

Jendeis

Good job on your 5 things. Hope that you can add many more to your list soon.

Go watch The Idle Mind of Beth's cousin here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gI_8MdUGPYE) for your next good thing.

Becky

Oh sweetie. I think you're entitled to be as upset as you want to be. I love your list of things to be happy about, but I know what a hard time you're having.

You know what this needs? AUNT BECKY TO MAIL OUT THE 1756 POUNDS OF REECES FOR YOU. Tomorrow. TOMORROW I will mail out your box 'o' joy.

(besides, I hate pregnant women, too. Really, I do.)

DC

Kudos to you for looking at the positive! I know how difficult this can be while struggling with infertility. Keep your chin up!

Alicia

What a great attitude you have!! It can be so hard to find 5 positives things a day! Way to go.

Yep. I hear ya. (NCLM)

Reading back over some of the other posts on this page - I always wanted four kids too. Now unless I had two sets of twins, there wouldn't be time enough to have them before I hit menopause. DH and I have even said if we get one, we'll quit and be happy.

Somedays, finding one good thing can be hard. Well done for finding 5!

Kate

Here from NCLM. I like the idea of looking for fairies and for 5 positive things.

K

I think making a list of positives is a good thing to do because we forget the small things and listing them can remind us.

Kim

I like the idea for looking for positives. I think this can carry over outside of IF too. When I am having a bad day, I will try to remember this. NCLM

Good to hear from you. Congrats on the new pants size. Well, done.

Jeez, those pregnant ladies get around! There all over the place here, too. I'm going to take your uncle's theory and put it to work, too. I'm going to look for stacks of cash.

p.s. I may be in London July 1.

M

Sometimes finding the good things is really ahrd, but I give you a lot of credit for finding them when you're so down. Sometimes reminding ourselves of those things helps, even just a little.

I'm sorry for your cancelled cycle this month, and wish you a lot of luck with your next. Sending you hugs and more positive things to come.

I think it's great that you're looking for five good things. I hope you find some fairies soon.

(from NCLM) It can be hard sometimes to come up with good things, let alone 5. I think you did a great job, and the story about Banana republic has me craving some new pants, seriously. I love that store! My husband says when I enter the door there I get a different look on my face and he says I "have entered my happy place." He's right, it's one of the places I get happier :-)

Katt

Down a pant size?!? That rocks!

So sorry that you have to work so hard to find the fairies though. I remember that part of IF very well.

Busted

In my opinion, if you can count 5 good things about any day, however insignificant they may be, that is a GREAT day! I think your 5 are all very good things.

I wonder the same thing about whether I only notice all the pregnant women and twin strollers because I'm looking for them. So hard to tell though.

Mary

I am hoping you find your fairie soon.

I'll keep you in my prayers.

I'm thinking of you and hoping you're doing OK. Please check in soon. :)
